Ward Clerk Rangatira Paediatric Ward, Waitakere Hospital Permanent, Full Time (1.0 FTE) About Us Rangatira Ward is an acute general medical paediatric ward caring for children aged 0-15 years with a range of short and long-term illnesses and disabilities. We are a close-knit team, committed to providing quality whānau centred care. We work closely with the Childrens Community Nurse Specialist team, Paediatric Outpatient services, Primary and Public health providers and Emergency Care Centres. Health New Zealand Waitematā provides health services to approximately 650,000 residents of the North Shore, Waitakere, and Rodney areas. It has the largest population of any district health area. About the role and About you You will need to have strong positive customer service, administration and communication skills and intermediate level computer knowledge. You will also need to be able to work well in a team and have the ability to work under pressure. Previous Reception/Clerical experience in the health industry will be an advantage. This job involves shared administration responsibilities such as meeting and greeting patients and visitors to the ward and to outpatient clinics, ensuring the information on our patient IT systems is up to date, and supporting clinical interface.
