As a Doctoral Research Coordinator, you willprovidespecialist advice, case management, and pastoral support for doctoral students while working closely with academic staffand key university stakeholders. This is a highly relationship-focused role where you will contribute to an exceptional doctoral experience and support continuous improvement across doctoral processes and services. Key responsibilities: Act as a key point of contact for doctoral candidates, providing specialist advice and support throughout candidature Coordinate doctoral admissions, supervision matching, scholarship processes, onboarding and orientation activities Support doctoral milestones, candidature changes, annual reviews,confirmationand continuation processes Monitor candidate and supervisor data, ensuringtimelymanagement of key doctoral processes and deadlines Coordinate examiner nominations and provide support throughout examination-related activities Organise workshops, seminars and learning activities that enhance the doctoral student experience Contribute to service improvement initiatives, academic governance activities, and stakeholder engagement across the University This is a fulltime (37.5hours per week) fixed term opportunityfor3 years. The salary range for this role is $63,600- $79,300 based on skills and experience. You are a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-focused environment. You enjoy building trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and are comfortable navigating complex processes and policies. Your ability to balance empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail enables you to provide outstanding support to students while working collaboratively with academic leaders and colleagues across the University.
