RTLB Cluster 14 Practice Leader - Sustainability Lead Full time, Permanent Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Resource teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts We seek an experienced RTLB with proven successful leadership experience to be responsible for leadership, guidance, and professional practice support of six RTLB teams alongside two existing practice leaders, base office to be negotiated with the successful candidate. Essential qualities and experience include: Current and successful experience working effectively with teachers across all school settings in support of Māori students, Pacific Island students, and students from Years 2-10 In-depth working knowledge of implementing the He Pikorua Practice Framework Strategic planning and implementation Experience in leading systems-level and cluster-wide projects A positive growth mindset and willingness to learn and grow as a leader Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills - the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with RTLB, schools, their teachers, and whānau Professional, approachable, and flexible, with the ability to inspire, motivate, coach, and mentor others Confidence in dealing with challenging conversations and situations Ability to work effectively using a range of online platforms Driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle required. The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Primary Teachers Collective Agreement .
