Core Physiotherapist - Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Acute Allied Health Remuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders. We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our team in the musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy clinic at Middlemore Hospital. The team forms part of the Adult Rehabilitation, Acute Allied Health Service for Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau. Comprehensive Physiotherapy services are provided to a culturally and clinically diverse group of adults with musculoskeletal conditions including referrals from a range of hospital-based specialties and primary care. This position may also provide an opportunity to provide supervision of rotational staff and undergraduate physiotherapy students. You will work alongside and be professionally supported by a team of experienced Physiotherapists, a Section Head Physiotherapist, and the Physiotherapy Professional Leader. We also have close links with the wider Allied Health team for collaboration and professional development opportunities. The department actively encourages continuous professional development with continuous and collaborative learning through a range of opportunities. New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with current APC At least 3+ years of experience as a Physiotherapist, with musculoskeletal experience Experience in orthopaedic/musculoskeletal physiotherapy preferred however, we would consider someone with a keen interest to develop knowledge, skills and experience in this clinical area Experience in supervision of rotational staff and students What's in it for you?
