We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent, full-time KingsWay School Teacher (Years 1-8) based primarily on our Junior Campus (Years 1-6) starting January 2027. Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of over 2000 students. Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tūmanako. About the Role Key responsibilities of the role include: Effectively engaging with and teaching primary school students Contributing to the school's academic process and achievement Relating well and being culturally responsive to a diverse range of students and staff The successful applicant will: Be a nurturing and passionate educator Have strengths in NZ Curriculum Enjoy working collaboratively Have a desire to grow their professional capacity Enjoy partnering with parents An important condition of employment is that applicants must have a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Christian Character of KingsWay School. You will enjoy contributing and promoting a biblically informed, Christ-centred worldview, including how this translates to supporting and growing our students’ faith, and will protect and enhance our Christian character.All teaching staff are expected to uphold the special character of the School.
