Ophthalmic Technician Dunedin Hospital Salary Band - $73,876 - $88,887 p.a. + Kiwisaver 2x Permanent positions available from 0.8 FTE - 1.0 FTE (32-40hrs per week) Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders About the role We are looking for an Ophthalmic Photographer to join the Ophthalmology Outpatient Department here at Dunedin Hospital on a permanent part-time basis. The primary responsibility of the position is to provide photographic and technical support, as well as associated administrative services for the Ophthalmology Department. You will be given the opportunity to utilise and develop a variety of technical proficiencies, and work with sophisticated technology in a friendly and supportive team environment. Be open to new ways of working to provide patients with the most efficient and effective service. Hold a Level 4 certificate in Digital Photography (or higher) or be working towards this. Some experience within an ophthalmic field would be advantageous but is not essential. Be flexible in your availability as some occasional weekend work may be required.
