As our ICP Clinical Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to use your clinical expertise to influence the quality of rehabilitation services, develop and support other clinicians, and help deliver exceptional outcomes for clients across the Active+ Integrated Care Pathway for Musculoskeletal (ICPMSK) service. You’ll provide clinical leadership to our Navigation Team through coaching, mentoring and clinical oversight, while acting as a trusted clinical expert for complex cases, pathway decisions and escalations. This is a varied and influential role where you’ll combine clinical leadership with hands-on pathway navigation and client advocacy. You’ll review referrals, undertake clinical triage and risk assessment, support interdisciplinary teams with rehabilitation planning, and help clients navigate their recovery journey. You’ll work closely with ACC, providers, GPs, specialists and other stakeholders to ensure services are client-centred, culturally safe, evidence-informed and aligned with contractual and clinical requirements. You’ll also play an important role in shaping the ongoing success of the ICPMSK service. From strengthening clinical governance and developing the capability of our Navigation Team and provider network, to monitoring clinical outcomes, service performance and client feedback, you’ll identify opportunities to continuously improve how we deliver care. If you’re passionate about MSK rehabilitation, developing others and influencing better outcomes at a wider service level, this is an exciting opportunity to make your mark. This is a full-time 12month fixed term position based in our Active+ National Support Office (NSO) in the Auckland CBD. A Degree in Physiotherapy, with current NZ Physiotherapy Board registration and Annual Practising Certificate. Strong MSK Physiotherapy experience, with current experience working across ACC ICPMSK and/or Vocational Rehabilitation contracts. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to be a credible clinical leader, team player and strong advocate for clients. A compassionate, inclusive and culturally safe approach, with a genuine commitment to delivering positive client outcomes. Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, manage competing demands and deliver to deadlines. The confidence and initiative to work autonomously and efficiently, while collaborating effectively as part of a wider interdisciplinary team. Sound knowledge of ACC, Health & Safety and Privacy legislation and how these requirements apply within rehabilitation services. Strong digital capability, including confidence using Excel, Gensolve and Microsoft Office. Confidence working with financial information and making sound, informed decisions.
