Quantity Surveyor / Sales Estimator - (12-month fixed-term contract)

Vulcan Building Systems | East Tamaki, Auckland | 12-month fixed-term contract | Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day (7am–5pm) Join Vulcan Building Systems as a Quantity Surveyor / Sales Estimator Managing quotes, reading construction and building consent drawings, and using estimate software in a dynamic, growing team. It's a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same — you'll be the link between customers, our sales team, and operations, helping deliver accurate, timely solutions. What you'll be doing Manage customer, colleague, and supplier interactions by phone, email, and face-to-face Accurately estimate quantities from construction and building consent drawings Provide timely, accurate quotes to meet customer specifications Follow up on active quotes and help build a strong sales pipeline Maintain high levels of customer service with a focus on sales Coordinate with operations to schedule and dispatch orders efficiently (achieve full DIFOT) Support the wider team and contribute to company growth This role blends desk-based estimating with regular customer contact — you'll move between quoting software, drawings, and the phone throughout the day.
