Alcohol and Drug Clinician - CADS Central Alcohol and Drug Clinician- CADS Central Permanent role Hours of wrok: Monday -Friday 8.30am -5pm with the requirement to work from 11.30am - 8pm one day a week to facilitate an evening group Based in Kingsland Community Alcohol and Drug Services (CADS) Auckland is looking for a full-time registered AOD clinician (1 FTE) to work in our Auckland Central Counselling service based in Kingsland. About Us CADS is the largest Alcohol and other Drugs (AOD) service in New Zealand working with over 15000 people each year. CADS provides free community and inpatient AOD treatment from several locations across Auckland. CADS is committed to empowering the community to discover healthier use of substances (harm minimisation) and to promote recovery and well-being. About the Role and About You The role requires you You will be an experienced professional (qualification in applied AOD studies, nursing, social work, counselling, psychology, occupational therapy or related fields) registered with DAPAANZ or an equivalent professional body who is seeking an opportunity to work in a cohesive well-supported team and further develop your AOD expertise. A sense of social justice and enjoy working with people in all their complexity is required. You will have a non-judgmental attitude, excellent engagement and communication skills, and an ability to work autonomously within a team.
