About the Role We welcome applications from registered nurses with significant experience across acute hospital settings, a background in nursing education, and a passion for supporting nurses practice development. As Nurse Educator, you will lead and facilitate the practice development programme for new graduate registered and enrolled nurses at both Tauranga and Whakatane hospitals in collaboration with the Nurse Coordinator and RN Coach. This role offers the opportunity to apply your knowledge of education principles and evidence-based nursing practice to deliver the Supported First Year of Practice (SFYP) Programme and contemporary nursing education. About the Team/Service/ Location Nurse Educators are part of the practice development team, and have access to other experienced colleagues within the Workforce Development and Learning Service For more information on living and working in the Bay of Plenty click here About you As a Nurse Educator you will be a registered nurse who has achieved a minimum of Proficient PDRP level and has worked in hospital based nursing environments for greater than 5 years of clinical experience. Minimum of Proficient level PDRP Postgraduate Diploma or currently enrolled on the pathway Experience may include Educator/adult teaching role Preceptorship, RN Coach Able to travel by car as required between Tauranga and Whakatane Hospitals.
