Job Description

Role: Casual Allied Health Assistants Waikato Hospital District Health New Zealand About the Role Casual Allied Health Assistant role supports allied health therapists across Waikato District. This could include shifts at Waikato and/or rural hospitals as well as Waikato District communities. This position could also include weekends as and when required. Supervising patients to go through their therapy programmes as prescribed by a qualified allied health therapist Helping patients to regain their independence with activities of daily living following medical illness/surgery ordering of equipment such as walking aids and ADL equipment and educating patients on its use Assist with patient manual handling Computer skills are required Undertake group patient activities when required Please note, this is NOT a Health Care Assistant role.
