QUALIFICATIONS AND GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION School Nurse Subs Substitute school nurses provide direct and indirect care to students in compliance with school district policies, professional standards of practice, physician orders, and individual health plans; and collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure effective daily health supervision of all students.Function in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, National Association of School Nurses Code of Ethics,and the School District Policies and Procedures. Current registered professional nurse, designated as R.N. as defined and determined by state law, and currently licensed in NH is a requirement. NH School Nurse Certification from the NHDOE is desirable.
