About the Role We have an excitingopportunity for a full-time Registered Mental Health Nurse to join ourmultidisciplinary community mental health team.You will be joining anestablished, experienced, specialist multidisciplinary team who are passionateabout improving health outcomes and promoting the quality of life of tangatawhaiora referred to our service. About the Team/Service Location The Mental Health ServiceOlder Persons (MHSOP) is a mental health specialty service. The service isprimarily community based and provides specialist assessment, treatment andrehabilitation services for people experiencing mental health needs in later life.The community team is co-located with our specialist inpatient unit on theKenepuru Community Hospital campus. About you You will be flexible andwilling to work collaboratively as part of a team to provide quality care andassessment to meet identified client needs. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have: Experience of working witholder adults or an interest developing skills, experience in this specialtyarea Demonstrated ability to workboth autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals within astrengths based and solution focused frameworkExcellent assessment, timemanagement skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasksExcellent communication andinterpersonal skills and proven ability to engage people at all levels Demonstrated commitment toapplying principles of Te Tiriti O Waitangi and to improving equitable healthoutcomes for the communities we serve Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te WhatuOra is 'the weaving of wellness'.
