Senior Medical Imaging Technologist

The Radiology Department at North Shore Hospital are looking for a Senior Medical Imaging Technologist to join their team. This role takes responsibility for the patient flow process within the department, and provides support and assistance to the Radiology clinical staff, to ensure a high quality, customer-focused service is provided at all times.

You will be a super user of DR imaging equipment and Fluoroscopy imaging equipment, and will be responsible for student and MIT training. You will work closely with other Senior MITs across all Te Whatu Ora - Waitemata sites, to ensure consistent service delivery.

• Hold a Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent
\n
\n
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Medical Imaging Technologist
\n
\n
• Have current registration with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologist's Board, and a current Annual Practicing Certificate
\n
\n
• Be enrolled in a recognised Continuing Professional Development (CDP) programme
\n
\n
• Previous experience working within a PACS environment would be advantageous.
