APM is seeking experienced Psychologists to join our growing Auckland team as Specialist Cover Assessment Providers within the ACC Sensitive Claims Service. This is an excellent opportunity to undertake meaningful assessment work with survivors of sexual abuse and assault while being supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team. About the Role As a Specialist Cover Assessment Provider, you will: Complete ACC Specialist Cover Assessments (SCAs) for clients accessing the ACC Sensitive Claims Service. Assess mental injury, causation, treatment needs, and rehabilitation requirements. Prepare high-quality assessment reports for ACC. Work collaboratively with treating clinicians and recovery teams to support positive client outcomes. What Makes This Opportunity Different? About You You will ideally: Be a Registered Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, or other ACC-approved professional eligible to undertake Specialist Cover Assessments. Possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) Have experience working with survivors of sexual abuse, trauma, PTSD, dissociation, and complex mental health presentations. Have experience completing diagnostic and functional assessments. Demonstrate excellent report-writing skills. Be eligible to become, or already approved as, an ACC Named Assessment Provider.
