We are on the hunt for an experienced Senior Service Technician to join ourWhangarei (Northland) branch, servicing and repairing world-class agriculturaland construction machinery both in our workshop and on customer sites. As a SeniorService Technician, you'll play a key role in coaching and mentoringapprentice and service technicians while continuing to develop your owntechnical expertise. Variety – you will work on a wide range ofagricultural and construction machinery and equipment from leading globalbrands including Deutz Fahr, McHale, Väderstad, Kioti, Kverneland, Kramp,Fliegl, JCB and more. About the role: As a Senior Service Technician, you will be responsible forservicing, repairing, maintaining and overhauling agricultural and constructionmachinery to manufacturer specifications. Working both in the workshop and inthe field, you will: Diagnose, repair and maintain machinery usingadvanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Detect and resolve mechanical and electrical faultsefficiently and accurately. Use computer-based service systems to sourcetechnical information, download and interpret machine data. Dismantle, repair and rebuild components tomanufacturer specifications. Complete service documentation and administrationaccurately and on time. Collaboratewith parts, service and branch teams to deliver outstanding customeroutcomes. Travelas required to support customers on-site. Maintainhigh standards of health, safety and environmental compliance. Providecoaching, guidance and mentoring to apprentice and service technicians,sharing knowledge and best practice across the team. About you: You'll take pride in your work, have advanced technicalcapability and enjoy solving complex mechanical challenges. To be successful inthis role, you'll have: A Heavy Machinery or Automotive Service Technicianqualification. Proven experience working in a mechanical repairworkshop, ideally within agricultural or construction machineryenvironments. Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding capabilityacross mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. Experience using diagnostic equipment andcomputerised service systems. Strong problem-solving and logical diagnosticskills. A full driver's licence. The ability to work independently whilecontributing positively to a team environment. A safety-first mindset and commitment toprofessional, ethical conduct. Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting lessexperienced technicians would be advantageous. Who are we?
