Nurse Educator - Theatres Level 4

Exciting Senior Nurse or Anaesthetic Technician Opportunity! Are you an experienced senior registered nurse (RN) or anaesthetic technician (AT) with a passion for education, quality and excellence? We have an opportunity for an experienced perioperative RN or AT to further their career, focusing on education, training and development within a passionate perioperative educator team. About the Role In this role, you will play a key part in developing and supporting our perioperative workforce across the Cardiothoracic and ORL Operating Room services. You will provide education, teaching and clinical support to staff developing their skills in scrub and circulating roles, particularly those who are new to the perioperative environment. You will also contribute to organisation-wide education, leadership and patient-focused initiatives. Your primary base will be the Cardiothoracic Level 4 OR, a specialised and dynamic service providing both adult and paediatric cardiac care, as well as acute and elective cardiothoracic surgery, adult congenital heart disease, and heart and lung transplantation. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a complex clinical environment while supporting the ongoing development of our perioperative workforce. You will work collaboratively with the Nurse Educator, who has a primary focus on the ORL specialty within Level 4 OR, to provide a consistent, connected and supportive approach to education, professional development and clinical practice across the Level 4 Theatre services. This is a permanent role working 0.6 FTE, Monday to Sunday.
