Find out more at www.realsteel.co.nz About the Role We're looking for a reliable and detail-focused Office & Factory Cleaner to help maintain our brand-new Hautapu facility. This is a part-time position, working 25 hours per week from 9.00am-2.30pm, Monday-Friday. You will be responsible for keeping both our office and factory areas clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors. You’ll take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, work confidently with minimal supervision, and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day presentation and operation of the site. What you'll be doing Cleaning and sanitising office spaces, meeting rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and factory common areas Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors, including operating a ride-on sweeper in the factory Emptying rubbish and recycling bins and managing waste disposal Restocking consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet paper Monitoring cleaning supplies and advising when stock levels are low Safely handling cleaning products and following health and safety procedures Reporting maintenance issues, damaged fixtures, or potential hazards to management Helping maintain a clean, professional, and safe environment across the entire site What you'll bring A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage your time effectively A reliable work ethic with consistent attendance and a high level of integrity A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of your work Good communication skills and the confidence to report issues when needed Physical capability to carry out cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, reaching and standing for periods of time A commitment to workplace health and safety and following established procedures The following experience is a bonus, but not essential: Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience Experience operating cleaning equipment such as ride-on sweepers or floor-cleaning machinery Experience working in manufacturing, warehouse, factory, or industrial environments Experience managing cleaning supplies or stock levels Why join Real Steel?
