Learning Support Coordinator

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts Rosmini College is seeking a dynamic, relational, and highly experienced educational leader to join our supportive team as a Learning Support Coordinator (LSC). Working with the Head of Department (HoD) Learning Support, you will work directly with students, support teachers and whănau, and help design systems that remove barriers to learning, ensuring every young man is known, valued, and empowered to succeed. You will coordinate learning support, mostly at intermediate level, design inclusive systems, and collaborate with students, teachers and whănau to remove learning barriers. This is a 0.73 FTE permanent LSC position for the 2027 school year. For applicants seeking a full-time workload, there is the option to top up the remaining hours with an additional teaching load, depending on subject specialisation. Please state supporting subjects. About the role As our LSC, you will: Coordinate timely interventions, manage IEPs, and maintain student-centered advocacy and transitions. Help build and refine school-wide inclusive education processes and robust records. Upskill staff and learning support assistants, and build strong relationships with families and external agencies.
