We are looking to boost our Trade Team and seeking apositive and enthusiastic Trade Team Member who recognises the importance ofproviding outstanding customer service to our Trade and DIY customers. Reporting to the Trade Manager, you will be workingwith trade and retail customers to fulfil their building material orders. Thiswill involve picking orders, using a forklift, loadingcustomer orders, and writing up yard dockets. This is a physical role which covers our outsideyard, retail store and drive thru. You will need to provide excellent customerservice, helping to solve their issues and provide the best advice on the useof building materials. You will keep a focus on health and safety, ensuringcompany health and safety procedures are followed at all times. We are looking for someone who: Preferably has a background in the building supplies/ timberbusiness, however full training will be provided. Has the willingness to learn and a drive to achieve Honesty, integrity and a commitment to deliver what you promise. A friendly, energetic and positive personality Is physically fit, able to lift heavy weights and able to be ontheir feet the majority of the day Basic computer knowledge and attention to detail Has an outstanding work ethic & is a team player Holds a valid and current full NZ Drivers Licence Holds a current forklift OSH certificate and F endorsement This is a minimum 27 hour a week FIXED TERM for 6 months role across Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Hours will be determined by a roster and will include public holidays. With the possible opportunity of a Full-time position following fixed term contract.
