Join our friendly HR team as HR Advisor on a 12-month fxed-term contract. This is a full-time position based in Pukekohe, Auckland. As our HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the success of our diverse and growing business, which spans four core operational areas: growing, packing, selling fresh produce, and frozen chip manufacturing. Working closely with managers and employees across the organisation, you will provide practical and professional HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, people administration, and compliance. You will be instrumental in delivering a positive employee experience, maintaining strong people practices, and ensuring HR processes continue to meet the evolving needs of the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic operational environment and partnering with people at all levels to foster a positive, productive, and high-performing workplace culture. Key responsibilities Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including preparing and posting job advertisements, candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checking and onboarding documentation. Provide support for employee relation matters by responding to employee enquiries, assisting with performance management processes, and facilitating workplace discussions where required. Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and relevant industry standards and best practices Assist with the review and update of HR policies, procedures, and documentation, while contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes and systems. Provide administrative support across the HR function, including scheduling meetings, maintaining employee records, managing HR data and ensuring accurate documentation. Supporting employee learning and development initiatives, including the coordination and administration of training programmes and professional development activities. Assisting with workplace investigations and dispute resolution as required. What we're looking for Around 3 years' HR experience, supported by a relevant HR qualification or equivalent practical experience. Experience in an HR Advisor or similar role within a fast-paced environment. Sound knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice. Experience using HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills. A professional and con?dential approach to sensitive information. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently .
