Whether you’re new to the mining sector, or keen to further your experience, this is afantastic opportunity to get involved with New Zealand’s largest gold mine. This role will involve servicing, diagnosing and undertaking electrical repairs to awide variety of underground earthmoving equipment, both underground and in our above-surface workshop. 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off, 6 : 30 am/pm to 6 : 30 pm/amroster. Responsibilities include: Ensurethat all underground equipment is mechanically and electronically maintained in accordance with company and manufacturer guidelines Workat both surface-level and underground to maintain and servicevehicles As directed by the Auto Electrical specialist, you will maintain automation gear (e.g. remote services), complete general electrical repairs, and electrical services asrequired Complete mechanical requirements asrequired Ensure that the necessary lock out procedures is in place before commencing work on apiece ofequipment Ensure all the necessary pre-start service and repair documentation is completed in atimely and accuratemanner Qualifications Appropriate trade qualification with ideally 5 years practical experience in yourfield 3 – 5 years’ experience in aheavy machinery ormining environment ispreferred Current NZ workingrights / NZ Visa is required for thisrole Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining quality isessential Additional Information Residential role, live and work in the stunning region of Otago,NZ. 7 days on, 7 days off, days/nights, 12 hr shiftroster Competitive salary + bonusstructure Discounts on retail andservices Free Southern Cross HealthcareInsurance Monthly health and wellbeingallowance Living Our Values recognition program Onsite Physiotherapist and nursessuite Free transport towork Study assistance Access to OceanaGold Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Exceptional working environment where people are valued andrespected **Applications close 12 September 2026 .
