About the role/team TePae Tiaki | Wellington Emergency Department is seeking a dynamic andenthusiastic FACEMto join our collegial team of 22Emergency Physicians. Asa busy mixed adult and paediatric emergency department, we care forapproximately 65,000presentations each year, with children making up around 20% of our patientpopulation. With an admission rate of 30%, we provide a broad and rewarding scope ofpractice. WellingtonRegional Hospital is the region's tertiaryreferral and major trauma centre, with strong in-house supportfrom most specialties. Our department includes: A 16-bed Emergency Department Observation Unit Adedicated Paediatric Zone (Rohe Tamariki) Teaching,education, and the development of future Emergency Physicians are central towho we are.
