About the role/team TePae Tiaki | Wellington Emergency Department is seeking a dynamic andenthusiastic FACEMto join our collegial team of 22Emergency Physicians. Asa busy mixed adult and paediatric emergency department, we care forapproximately 65,000presentations each year, with children making up around 20% of our patientpopulation. With an admission rate of 30%, we provide a broad and rewarding scope ofpractice. WellingtonRegional Hospital is the region's tertiaryreferral and major trauma centre, with strong in-house supportfrom most specialties. Our department includes: A 16-bed Emergency Department Observation Unit Adedicated Paediatric Zone (Rohe Tamariki) Teaching,education, and the development of future Emergency Physicians are central towho we are. As part of our team, you will play an active role in ourwell-established training programme and contribute to the growth of the nextgeneration of emergency medicine specialists.
