About the Role Applicationsare invited from enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are willing to joinour team in Children's Ward as a Health Care Assistant. The role is 0.5 FTEworking rostered and rotating shifts (AM and PM) shifts. Some knowledge andunderstanding of the health care system would be an advantage. Computer skillsare essential. Administrative duties are a significant part of this role. About you We have a dynamic, respectful andsupportive team on the ward. Team members are professional, friendly and teamfocused. The successful candidate will be working with the nursing staff, otherhealth care assistants and clerical staff to deliver high standard of serviceand day to day running of the ward. We have multi-disciplinary team approach toprovide best outcomes for our patients. We offer supportive workplace culturewith commitment to your on- going professional development. This includescomprehensive orientation to the role, training and excellent team support. Youwill be supported to undertake New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeingcourse, Level 4.
