About Our Role We're looking for an experienced Activities &Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team and make a meaningful difference in thelives of our residents. In this role, you will deliver engaging,person-centred therapeutic programmes that enhance our residents' wellbeing,encourage independence, foster social connection, and bring purpose andenjoyment to everyday life. Reporting to the GM - Care & Villages, youwill work closely with residents, whānau, and the wider care team to supportresidents in achieving their health and wellbeing goals, maintaining functionalabilities, and enhancing their quality of life through meaningful recreationalengagement. This is a part-time position working Sunday andMonday, 10:00am – 4:00pm. There may beopportunities to pick up additional shifts if desired. Key Responsibilities: Deliverengaging activities and lifestyle programmes that support residents' physical,emotional, social, and cognitive wellbeing. Workcollaboratively with the full-time Activities & Lifestyle Coordinator toimplement planned activities, events, and programmes that align with residents'interests, abilities, and goals. Fostermeaningful resident participation by building positive relationships andcreating inclusive opportunities for connection, enjoyment, and engagement. Maintainaccurate activity records and contribute to the ongoing evaluation of residentparticipation and programme effectiveness. About You You are an experienced Diversional Therapist orhave substantial experience delivering therapeutic recreation or lifestyleprogrammes. You are creative, compassionate, and committed to providingperson-centred experiences that enrich the lives of older people. You enjoy building meaningful relationships andworking collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Adaptable andorganised, you can respond to changing resident needs while maintaining apositive, inclusive, and respectful environment for residents and their whānau.
