Services Industry Skills Board (Services ISB) is seeking ahighly skilled and forward-thinking Senior Insights Analyst to leadworkforce and vocational education intelligence across the services sector.This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping qualifications,workforce planning, industry investment advice, and strategic decision-makingthat supports New Zealand's service industries. About Services ISB Services ISB gives the services industry a stronger voice inshaping vocational education and workforce development. We work across adiverse range of sectors including retail, hospitality, tourism, businessservices, sport and recreation, and hairdressing. Our role is to ensurevocational education responds to industry needs while supporting betteroutcomes for learners, employers, and communities throughout Aotearoa. Reporting to the Head of System Performance &Improvement , you'll lead the collection, analysis and interpretation ofworkforce and tertiary education data to provide evidence-based insights thatinform strategic priorities and policy advice. This is a senior role requiring both technical expertise andstrategic influence. You'll work closely with senior leaders, governmentagencies, industry stakeholders and peer organisations to create intelligenceproducts that support workforce planning, vocational education outcomes andinvestment decisions. Key responsibilities include: Leading workforce, labour market and vocationaleducation analysis Delivering high-quality insights, reports,dashboards and strategic recommendations Developing and enhancing analyticalmethodologies and reporting frameworks Providing evidence-based advice to seniorleaders and key stakeholders Leading complex analytical projects fromconception to delivery Building organisational analytics capabilitythrough coaching and mentoring Collaborating with government agencies, dataproviders and other Industry Skills Boards to strengthen workforce intelligenceacross the sector. What You'll Bring We're looking for an experienced insights professional whocan confidently move between technical analysis and strategic conversations. Ideally, you'll have: A relevant tertiary qualification in economics,statistics, business, social sciences or a related discipline Significant experience leading complexanalytical projects and delivering strategic insights Advanced capability with Power BI, Excel anddata visualisation tools Strong quantitative analysis, modelling and datainterpretation skills The ability to communicate complex informationclearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong project management capabilities and theability to manage multiple priorities An understanding of, or commitment to developingknowledge of, Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Labour market analysis or workforce planning Vocational education and training sectorknowledge Experience working with Stats NZ, Infometrics,IDI or other large datasets Experience developing reporting and data productspecifications.
