About the role We're looking for an experienced and passionate Café Supervisor to lead our café team in our Palmerston North Village. We are looking for a 'star', who will deliver excellent service to the our rresidents, family and visitors to the village. driving sales through the cafe, and guiding a small, efficient team. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, this is a combination of front of house and cafe food preparation and cooking. You will be leading a small team in this hands on role, delivering a warm and inviting experience for our village residents and their guests. Ideally you will have your Duty Manager / Bar licence also. Shift: Mon - Fri (8:30 - 2pm) About you As Café Supervisor, you will utilise your team building and leadership skills to train, develop and inspire the team, fostering a great culture and environment where residents will be proud to bring their guests. Strong relationship building skills. Financial acumen as you will be responsible for the Café profit & loss with a focus on growing revenues A current Duty Manager / Bar Licence would be an advantage. Food and beverage services preferably in a supervisory/managementrole Exceptional barista skills and able to deliver outstanding customer service and be able to effortlessly juggle several tasks at once with a smile A Hygiene & Food Handling Certificate will be advantageous as well as commercial kitchen experience Check out some of our Benefits!
