To enable smarter farming for a better New Zealand About the role We are looking for a Service Operations Engineer to join our high performing Information Technology team. The Service Operations Engineer provides advanced operational support across Ravensdown's IT environment, acting as the key escalation point between the Service Desk and Systems Engineering teams. The role provides advanced operational support and administration for defined IT services, resolving complex incidents, performing standard operational activities and improving the supportability of services. The role works close with the Service Desk Engineers and Systems engineers and plays a critical role in reducing operational risk and improving service efficiency. You should thrive on a busy workload and be committed to providing technical advice and support for our computer systems, hardware and software. This hands-on role is based out of our Christchurch site as part of our IT Team. About you You will have 3-5 years experience in IT Operations, Service Desk, Infrastructure Support or Systems administration roles. Ideal Skills and Experience We are looking for someone who has a focus on process improvement and delivery of service excellence to internal customers. You will have strong technical skills in this area with finely honed technical analysis skills and knowledge of network architecture and the Microsoft suite. You will be an advocate for knowledge sharing both within the team and to the wider group and act as a central point of contact for staff requiring devices.
