The Role As an Activities Coordinator, you will plan, lead, and oversee activities that promote residents' dignity, independence, and well-being, while ensuring they remain connected and engaged. By providing meaningful, personalized activities, you will enhance their quality of life and respect their unique identity. You will also lead and supervise a team of Activities Assistants and Volunteers, ensuring effective service delivery, and take responsibility for recruiting, supporting, and inspiring Volunteers to contribute positively to the residents' experiences. Hours: This is a permanent part-time position. The hours of work will be 22 hours per week working; Monday: 0930 - 1500hrs Tuesday: 0930 - 1600hrs Thursday: 0930 - 1530hrs Friday: 1000 - 1230hrs & 1400 - 1700hrs About You The ideal candidate will: Have exceptional planning and organizational skills Have excellent interpersonal skills including relationship building and advocacy skills Be energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and creative Have a full driver’s license Be empathetic and patient with elderly people.
