HNZ leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels. About the role Middlemore Central (MMC) is looking for a keen, energetic Clinical Nurse Coordinator to support the inpatient wards with Variance Response Management (VRM) within our Integrated Operations Centre. The term is fixed to cover parental leave. This is a fabulous opportunity to gain experience in a designated senior nurse role, reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, working rostered duties, while leading and supporting a team and building relationships with relevant stakeholders to facilitate variance response.You will need to be a Registered Nurse with proven leadership experience to support the dedicated team of RNs and HCAs.The work will include collaboration with nurses across the organisation and clinical prioritisation of the team's workload within Middlemores acute hospital service.The successful candidate will have proven clinical leadership experience, strong customer service focus, proven interpersonal communication skills, and a commitment to supporting change. Essential Requirements for the Role A minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Experience with TrendCare. Confident managing IT applications to identify and allocate clinical resources. Demonstrate expertise in setting standards and managing practice to achieve these. Proficient or above level of practice. Post Graduate diploma. Recruitment and rostering experience.
