About the role: As butcher you will assist in the day-to-dayrunning of our butchery department, ensuring that maximum range, and sufficientquantity of high-quality fresh meat is always available, as well as keeping thedepartment clean, tidy, and attractively presented. Cutting, trimming, packing and merchandisingmeat to a high standard. Providing exceptional levels of customerservice. Enhancing the image of the department byimplementation of agreed standards of display and presentation of stock. Follow Health and Safety Policy, Food SafetyPolicy, and compliance procedures in the store, including cleaning. What are we looking for? Proven 1 year butchery experience. Comfortable working in a cold environment. Passion for butchery and fresh foods. Willingness to learn and grow your butcherycareer. Must have Bandsaw experience. Willing to work flexible hours in busy period (Easter and Christmas). Willing to start early mornings. What’s in it for you? Competitive wage rate $31-$35 per hour. Minimum 40 hours per week.
