Job Description

At Flight Digital, we build digital platforms for purpose‑led organisations and ambitious brands. We’re looking for a Digital Project Manager who loves clarity, momentum, and ownership. Someone who can turn ambiguity into confident delivery. As a Digital Project Manager at Flight Digital, you lead projects from brief through to launch and beyond. You turn ambiguity into clear plans, keep teams aligned, remove blockers early, and make sure great work ships on time, to scope, and to budget. You work closely with Client Leads, UX, design, engineering and strategy to deliver websites, apps and digital products for purpose‑led organisations and ambitious brands. You are trusted to run delivery day to day, keep clients informed, and protect both quality and commercial outcomes. This is a hands‑on delivery role for someone who enjoys ownership, clarity and momentum. What you will be responsible for: Delivery leadership. Own day‑to‑day delivery for digital projects and ongoing retainers. Translate briefs and scopes into clear, sequenced delivery plans with milestones and owners. Track progress, manage dependencies, and surface risks early. Balance scope, time and quality to keep work moving without surprises. Commercial accountability. Deliver profitably by monitoring effort against scope and budget. Raise and manage scope changes with clear trade‑offs. Maintain visibility of delivery health and flag overruns before they become problems. Briefing, specification and release. Convert Discovery, UX, UI and development outputs into coordinated delivery workstreams. Manage functional and technical requirements across platforms. Run deployment checklists and release sign‑offs so launches match what was agreed. Quality and craft. Work with craft leads to review outputs and secure quality sign‑off. Champion Flight standards for performance, accessibility and usability. Coordinate QA, UAT and final delivery acceptance. Sequence work, allocate resources and manage dependencies so teams can focus on craft. Remove blockers and provide practical support to designers and engineers. Mentor junior PMs and coordinators and contribute to playbooks and best practice. Partner closely with Client Leads to keep communication clear and consistent. Manage day to day client delivery details, reviews and approvals. Contribute to estimates, Statements of Work and delivery planning. Key rule: You own practical delivery and coordination. The Account Director owns strategy, senior relationships and final commercial decisions. What success looks like. Projects and retainers launch on time, to scope, and to a high standard. Craft leads confidently sign off work before release. Clients feel informed, calm and supported throughout delivery. Delivery is commercially healthy and contributes to Flight's operating targets. Skills and experience. Proven experience delivering websites, apps or digital products in an agency or product environment. Strong organisational skills and comfort managing multiple concurrent workstreams. Confident working across UX, design and engineering. Clear, practical communicator with clients and internal teams. Commercially aware and proactive in managing delivery risk. Capabilities and behaviours. At Flight, delivery leadership is as much about how you work as what you deliver. You will bring: Clear, timely and confident communication. Pragmatic decision making and good judgment. A calm, supportive presence for teams and clients. Flexibility as priorities and contexts evolve. Working at Flight. Flight Digital partners with organisations doing meaningful work, helping them realise their vision and achieve their greatest impact. We are based just off K Road, close to great coffee, food and public transport, and we value focus, trust and craft over process theatre. You will work alongside experienced designers and engineers, delivering on modern web frameworks, scalable CMS platforms and well‑established delivery playbooks. This role has a clear growth path within our delivery and client services team, with increasing scope, leadership and commercial responsibility over time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
