About the role St Cuthbert's College is seeking a passionate and specialist French teacher to join our well-resourced and supportive languages faculty. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 2027, providing parental leave cover. The successful candidate will be expected to teach French across Years 7–13 and will be passionate about inspiring students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding. Familiarity with the IB programme would be an advantage, but is not essential. The ability to teach other languages, such as Spanish or Latin, would also be an advantage. To be successful in this role, you need to: Be passionate about teaching French across Years 7–13, with the ability to challenge and inspire students at all levels; Have a sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA requirements; Have New Zealand working rights; Hold a current New Zealand Teaching Registration and Practising Certificate.
