Trade Counter Team Member - Mitre 10 MEGA Glenfield

The Role: Our drive thru Timber Yard team are looking for someone who loves delivering first-class customer service and doesn’t mind a bit of hard work! This is a challenging but rewarding role, working together with the Trade and Dispatch teams. Your primary focus will be assisting our Trade and DIY customers with helpful and accurate advice, making sure they have everything they need to complete their projects. This role is positioned on the Trade Counter and involves processing purchase transactions, checking product uplifted against that purchased, replenishing counter stock, and assisting with customer queries. You will have a positive impact on sales, building long term trust based relationships and going the extra mile will be the norm for you. We are a 7 day operation, so the successful candidate will be required to work Fridays and Saturdays, (16 hours per week roster), permanent, part time. About You: You will be able to bring a drive and energy for getting the job done right. Previous customer service experience and/or building and timber knowledge would be an advantage, but it is your strong personal values, in alignment with ours, that will make you successful at Mitre 10. A mature outlook on life and workplace computer literacy will make you an ideal candidate. A good level of physical fitness is required for merchandising. You will be comfortable on your feet all day.
