Back End Developer

What we are looking: We’re looking for a talented Back-End Developer to help design, build, and maintain the robust, scalable systems that power our NZ digital platforms. If you love solving complex problems, building high‑performance services, and working with modern .NET and cloud technologies, this role gives you the space to make a real impact. As a key member of our NZ Web Development team, you’ll be responsible for developing secure, scalable backend services and APIs that integrate seamlessly with our front-end applications and AU systems. You’ll collaborate closely with front-end developers, QA, business stakeholders, and our AU development teams to deliver high‑quality features and maintain reliable, high‑performing systems. You’ll report directly to the Web Development Team Lead and play a vital role in shaping our evolving backend architecture. Technical Expertise Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core , and SQL Server . Experience building enterprise‑grade applications , APIs, and integrations. Familiarity with .NET 8+, serverless technologies (Azure Functions, GCP Cloud Run) , and modern backend patterns. Understanding of microservices , event‑driven architecture , distributed systems , and GraphQL . Experience with Docker , CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and Git workflows. Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases. Nice to Have Experience with Node.js/NestJS . Background in e‑commerce systems or transactional platforms.
