Community AOD Registered Nurse Are you passionate about supporting our whānau work through their AOD health concerns? Does working directly alongside whānau in our residential AOD programme positively challenge you? Do you want to work within an integrated community nursing team? About the organisation He Waka Tapu is a Kaupapa Māori organisation who have been supporting individuals and the community for over 30 years. About the role We are looking for a community focussed nurse, who is passionate about health education and supporting whānau to decode and demystify health concerns, and improve health across a wide continuum. This could include but is not limited to; Mental Health & Addictions, Physical Health, and Social Wellbeing. The ideal candidate will preferably have experience working with whānau who have health concerns, including those related to addiction. The role will collaborate with other internal teams, with kaimahi who share a passion for their mahi, the organisation, and taking a holistic approach to wellbeing. This is an amazing opportunity to work as a nurse and have a real impact on better outcomes for our community. This is a full-time permanent position based in Wainoni, Ōtautahi. Skills and experience Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Registered Nurse and hold current Nursing council of New Zealand practising certificate.
