Job Description
This is a true end-to-end Venue Manager position. You'll have full accountability across Food & Beverage, Gaming, TAB, Bottleshop, HR, Compliance and Rostering. If you want broad, genuinely hands-on hotel management experience across every part of the business, this is that role. Key responsibilities Oversee daily trading across the bistro, bar, gaming, TAB and bottleshop Manage rostering & timesheets Recruit, induct, and lead a team across multiple departments Maintain compliance across liquor licensing, gaming, WHS and food safety Manage stock, supplier relationships and cost control across all trading areas Drive sales through promotions, events and a well-run function/bistro booking calendar Report on trading performance and manage budgets/P&L About you Solid experience managing a licensed venue, hotel or similarly complex hospitality operation Current RSA and gaming certification A hands-on leader who's comfortable both running service and doing the admin that keeps a venue compliant and profitable About us Maid of Auckland Hotel is a well-established, high-volume venue with a loyal local following and a strong, experienced team already in place.
