Job Description
Mō te tūnga | About the role As the Passenger Liaison Clerk, you'll be the first point of contact for personnel travelling on RNZAF, foreign military and chartered NZDF aircraft. You'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day military air operations through customer service, passenger processing and administration activities. Processing travel applications and responding to passenger enquiries Managing passenger check-in and preparing flight documentation Managing the Air Movements inbox and coordinating flight-related communications Managing the flight notice board and screens Supporting general administrative and operational activities within the Air Movements team There are also some physical aspects to the position, including assisting with baggage handling and lifting, so a reasonable level of fitness is required. The salary for this role starts from $60,903 with a midpoint of $68,852, inclusive of a 4% superannuation contribution. Appointments within this range are based on skills and experience. You'll be organised, adaptable and comfortable balancing administration responsibilities with customer-facing duties. This can be a busy role, so being able to multitask, use your initiative and work around the operational tempo will help you succeed. Low Level Security Clearance You must be a New Zealand citizen or you must hold New Zealand Permanent Residence or have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa.
