Type of contract Volontariat International en Entreprise (VIE) Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and problem‑solving expertise in a cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward‑thinking teammates. Responsibilities Coordinate the production of the T&C documentation (T&C Procedures, T&C Reports, Punch List management) Handle interfaces with the various different entities involved on the project Witness and perform specific tests on the system, including plan and coordinate the site tests Create and run action plans corresponding to malfunctioning of the system, aiming to reach the performances targets Manage the system configuration during the successive tests phases Keep in frequent communication to the Project Commissioning Manager regarding T&C progress and issue resolution. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Diploma in engineering (computer science or equivalent, such as telecommunications) Understanding of distributed systems, including microservices, databases, and messaging systems Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP) and tools for troubleshooting network‑related issues Experience with programming or scripting languages for debugging and automation Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Azure Experience with incident management tools like Jira or DevOps (a plus) Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users clearly and concisely Analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues effectively Ability to make independent decisions under pressure while balancing urgency with thoroughness Patience, empathy, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with teams and end‑users Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life‑long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
