Production fitter

We are seeking an experienced Production Fitter to join a busy engineering workshop on Auckland's North Shore. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on tradesperson who enjoys mechanical assembly work, takes pride in producing quality workmanship and thrives in a team-oriented environment. About the Role You will be involved in the assembly of industrial equipment and mechanical components, working from engineering drawings and production specifications to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately and on time. Key responsibilities include: Mechanical fitting and assembly of equipment and components Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Using a range of hand and power tools Working to production schedules and quality standards Identifying and resolving assembly issues as they arise Maintaining a safe and tidy work area Contributing positively to a collaborative workshop team About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A trade qualification or significant fitting experience Minimum 3 years' hands-on fitting or mechanical assembly experience Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience with production fitting and assembly techniques Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality Strong communication skills A positive attitude and team-focused approach What's on Offer?
