Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Middle leadership The arts 3MU and 1MMA We require a passionate, engaging and energetic educator to lead and oversee our performing arts learning area, commencing at the beginning of 2027 (3MU’s and 1MMA). This is an exciting opportunity to develop this fast growing learning area! We are looking for someone that has a genuine passion for working with young people and the ability to contribute positively to the performing arts department. Please advise specialist subjects. The successful applicant will be collaborative, organised, relational, and capable of catering to a wide range of learning needs. Along with your application you are required to submit 2 completed referee reports (template found on our website) This position has also been advertised under the 'Auckland' region. For overseas applicants you are required to have a three-year specialist degree at Level 7 with a one-year teacher training Level 7 qualification. It is an advantage to have New Zealand teacher registration with the NZ Teachers Council. You must have a least 5 years’ experience in the classroom. Your conditions of work and salary are based on the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement 2002-2025. The salary range is from $70779 ($34.02/hr) to $103086 ($49.56/hr).
