Retail (onsite) Wine Sales Manager

We're looking for a Retail Wine Sales Manager to work alongside our newly created Outbound Wine Sales Manager role to delivery unforgettable wine experiences and achieve sales goals. This role will be hands-on, lead by example, and be a super star coach to our wine team. Role Location : Gibbston Role Type : Permanent, Full-Time Base Salary $95,000, with uncapped commission earning potential What You'll Do: Lead the Wine Store, Cellar Door, and Wine bar teams to delivery world-glass guest experiences and achieve sales targets. Lead by example and "walk the talk" on what makes an exceptional wine experience. Collaborate with the GM of Wine to refine product mix, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximise our offerings. Hold regular training, coaching, and support to your team, including performance conversations to identify development opportunities. Monitor, report, and improve sales performance, ensuring all financial targets, such as budget, and KPI’s, are met. Key Qualities and Experience Be an exceptional people leader that can lead by example. Be able to interpret sales data and have experience with direct-to-customer sales. Be able to coach our amazing wine time with your experience, knowledge, and skillset of elevating the wine sales process. Have a great knowledge and understanding of Central Otago wines and sub-regions, or a willingness to learn. Generally be passionate about wine and the hospitality industry! Have the ability to inspire your team to deliver world-leading wine experiences. Have flexibility to support during busy times, including working a weekend day. Why Join Kinross?
