Poultry Farm Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Poultry Farm Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on role working within a commercial poultry operation where animal welfare, health and safety, and teamwork are key priorities. No previous poultry experience is required, as full training will be provided onsite. However, applicants must be comfortable working around livestock and willing to undertake a variety of farm duties. Key Responsibilities Monitoring the health and wellbeing of the flock Feeding birds and maintaining water supply systems Culling injured or unwell birds in accordance with animal welfare guidelines General farm housekeeping and cleaning duties Assisting with daily farm operations and maintenance tasks Transporting eggs and assisting with egg collection using a Class 2 vehicle Following all health and safety procedures and biosecurity requirements What We're Looking For Current Class 2 Driver Licence (required) Strong commitment to health and safety practices Understanding of, or willingness to learn, animal welfare standards Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual labour Comfortable handling livestock and working in a farm environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team What's On Offer Full onsite training provided Stable roster of 6 days on, 2 days off Supportive team environment Opportunity to develop skills within the agricultural sector Long-term employment for the right candidate The Benefits In return for your hard work, you will receive: All new PPE gear provided at no cost to you!
