Machine Operator - Aluminium Extrusions

Looking for steady work, early finishes and a team that values hard work? We're looking for an Extrusion Operator to join our Hamilton team on a permanent, full-time basis. You'll operate aluminium extrusion machinery, monitor product quality, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. Monday-Friday 6.30am to 2.30pm. What you'll be doing Operating and monitoring extrusion machinery Carrying out quality checks and basic machine adjustments Loading raw materials and monitoring production runs Completing routine machine cleaning and maintenance Following health and safety procedures at all times Requirements Experience operating manufacturing, production, extrusion or similar machinery Ability to read and follow production specifications and work instructions Experience carrying out machine set-up, adjustments and basic troubleshooting Strong focus on quality and attention to detail Forklift licence and experience advantageous Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg Reliable with good attendance and a strong work ethic A valid work visa or the right to work in New Zealand Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test What's in it for you Permanent full-time role with guaranteed hours and weekly pay Health and wellbeing programme Enhanced parental leave Flat team structure with approachable, supportive leaders Long-term stability with a trusted Australasian brand About Vulcan Founded in 1995, Vulcan is Australasia's highest performing metals distributor and processor, delivering solutions that enable excellence.
