Job Description The purpose of this role is to support internal and external stakeholders through the delivery of Claims experience reporting and ensuring Claims Leaders have the insights required or, the ability to develop the insights needed to lead and develop a team of Claims professionals to a highly skilled and professional standard. This role is crucial to ensure the success of our Claims team and support Fidelity Life’s ongoing strategic direction by: Creating and maintaining accurate Claims data for internal and external stakeholders. Developing and maintaining tools used by the Claims Reinsurance specialists that support the recovery of funds from Reinsurance Partners to minimise our financial exposure. Developing and maintaining tools used by the Claims Quality Audit team. Developing and maintaining tools used by the Claims Financial consultants. Support the development, testing and implementation of Fidelity Life systems and applications. The role requires ensuring the highest possible standard of service is provided to our customers, internal and external stakeholders, applying the company’s Good Customer Principles and meeting our regulatory obligations. Desired Skills and Experience Data Management & Reporting Ensure timely and accurate creation of claims and claims financial data for internal and external stakeholders. Generate reports and insights to support decision making and performance monitoring. Maintain over-sight of Claims data generated within the wider claims team ensuring its accuracy. Systems and Tools Development Ensure the integrity of tools including excel workbooks used within the Claims team. Collaborate with technology teams to support system enhancements and new application rollouts. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback for improvements. Create and/or update process documentation and user guides in line with system enhancement deliveries. Support the delivery of training for staff for new and or enhanced systems and applications. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: Minimum of NCEA Level 3 or equivalent secondary school qualification Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred Leadership or management training (e.g., certificate in people leadership or coaching) is advantageous Experience: Minimum of 5 years of working in the Insurance industry Minium of 2 years working within an Insurance Claims team Experience in liaising with third party providers (eg, Regulatory bodies, Vendors etc) Skills: Ability to navigate and work comfortably well with Microsoft suites/applications (intermediate to advanced) Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and manage multiple work requirements Fidelity Life is an equal opportunity employer.
