Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at the cruise liner and wharf area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating daily activities, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support staff during daily wharf and cruise operations Coordinate staff, vehicles, and operational activities Ensure cruise liner operations run safely and on time Monitor staff performance and attendance Allocate tasks and manage daily workloads Communicate with drivers, staff, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders Respond to operational issues and resolve problems quickly Ensure health and safety procedures are followed Follow company policies, procedures, and port requirements Complete daily reports and operational records Support the team during busy periods and unexpected situations Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service What you offer Has previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role Has experience in transport, logistics, cruise, port, wharf, or a similar operational environment Has strong communication and people-management skills Can remain calm and make decisions under pressure Understands health and safety requirements Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks Has a strong work ethic and takes responsibility for their work Can work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and public holidays when required Is confident working with different teams and stakeholders Has a current driver's licence What We Offer A supportive and professional working environment Opportunity to develop your leadership and operational skills Varied and interesting work within the cruise and wharf environment Training and ongoing support As we are a health and safety consious employer, our pre-employment checks include drug testing, Ministry of Justice checks and reference checking.
