Seeking an experienced Mental Health professional to join Awhi Mātua, community mental health team for older adults Permanent, Full-time (40 hours) per week, based at Greenlane Clinical Centre Monday to Friday working week, 8am 4.30pm Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders. About the Role We are seeking an experienced mental health professional to join our multi-disciplinary team which includes two Referrals Management roles. Your responsibilities include: liaison and signposting for referrers phone triage following an established pathway management of our referrals list For further details, please refer to the position description. About the Team/Service/Location This role is based with Awhi Mātua, a community mental health team serving the central Auckland population of adults over 65 who are experiencing moderate to severe mental illness or behavioural and psychological difficulties associated with dementia. The team works with people from acute crisis through continuing care. About you To be a successful applicant: NZ registered Mental Health Professional (Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Clinical Psychologist) Minimum of three years clinical experience Ideally a postgraduate certificate/diploma in speciality mental health practice Community‑based role, which requires a full NZ Drivers licence Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
