Warranty & Service Contracts Administrator NZ COMMERCIAL DISTRIBUTORS LIMITED – Auckland airport, North Island Are you an experienced automotive professional with strong attention to detail and a good understanding of warranty and service processes? NZ Commercial Distributors Limited (NZCD) is a major player in the automotive sector, recently taking over as the national distributor for Mercedes-Benz Vans in New Zealand as well as a long history as distributor for the FUSO brand. NZCD manages vehicle distribution, parts supply, technical support & training, leveraging the existing dealer network to provide nationwide service and aftersales support. We are looking for a Warranty & Service Contracts Administrator to provide professional support to our dealership network across New Zealand. You’ll administer and adjudicate FUSO and Mercedes-Benz Vans warranty and service contract claims , ensuring claims meet NZCD policies, procedures and manufacturer requirements. About the Role Your key responsibilities will include: Administering, reviewing and processing warranty and service contract claims. Adjudicating claims and checking dealer compliance with warranty policies and procedures. Conducting claim reviews and investigating out-of-line, high-value and high-profile claims. Processing chargebacks and coordinating parts recalls for examination. Identifying operational errors, failure trends and opportunities for improvement. Working with dealers to obtain documentation and determine the appropriateness of repairs and claims. Communicating investigation outcomes to the Warranty Manager, National Service & Technical Manager and dealerships. Supporting dealership warranty audits and coordinating training where required. Liaising with international claims management teams. Travelling to NZCD dealership sites throughout New Zealand as required. About You We’re looking for someone who has: Automotive industry experience – essential, ideally within a dealership, wholesale or manufacturer environment. Previous warranty, service retail or similar experience – essential. Good knowledge of automotive parts and service operations. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving abilities. A customer-focused approach and the confidence to build relationships with dealerships and stakeholders. The ability and willingness to travel throughout New Zealand. Why NZCD?
