We're looking for a team player with a positive, can-do attitude to join our dedicated, supportive and friendly, Finance & Risk Group. This permanent, full-time role is based in our central Wellington office in Cuba Mall. Reporting to the Manager ERP, the Financial Systems Budgeting & Reporting Analyst plays a key role in supporting Greater Wellington's financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes. About the role: As the Financial Systems Budgeting & Reporting Analyst, you will be is responsible for maintaining and improving financial systems, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing analytical insights that support informed decision-making across the organisation. Working closely with Finance, ICT, and business stakeholders, you will help drive system enhancements, process improvements, and the effective use of financial data to support Greater Wellington objectives and operational performance. Skills and experience required: Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance reporting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms, preferably TechnologyOne. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting. Experience developing and maintaining financial reports, dashboards, and business intelligence tools. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting requirements. Experience supporting system improvements, testing, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Great communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial audiences. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Information Systems, or a related field; CA/CPA desirable.
