District Nursing - Kaitaia Permanent, part time role (0.8 FTE, 32 hours per week) Work in a rewarding community-based role supporting people to remain safe, well, and independent in their own homes. Join a dedicated and supportive multidisciplinary team serving the Far North. Based in Kaitaia, with some travel across the wider Far North region. About the Role As a District Nurse, your priorities are to provide District Nursing care demonstrated by a personal philosophy of nursing that incorporates the principles of primary health care and the consumer provider partnership in health. The care is based on comprehensive assessment, ensures continuity, and is patient/client centred, culturally sensitive and evidence based. Working across a variety of community settings, including patients' homes, community clinics, and other mutually agreed locations, you will play a key role in supporting individuals to manage their health and maintain independence within their community.
